Why The Lede?

When you subscribe to The Lede, you get the best and latest journalism, marketing, corporate communications jobs straight to your inbox. No more browsing for hours on LinkedIn or holding your breath as you submit your resume on Craigslist. The Lede is more than a job board. I’ll work to curate jobs at reputable companies, communicate with recruiters to post verified openings (hopefully), and moderate a vibrant comment section where you can make your elevator pitch to any lurking hiring managers.

I’ll also bring you the latest, need-to-know insights from the media industry and I’ll provide a few tidbits about my journey.

The Lede is for everyone. I provide space for job seekers, job hirers, and those who love their jobs but are looking to spread the wealth and mentor younger folks.

I’m not actively looking for a job — should I bother subscribing?

I’m biased, but I think you should. The Lede brings more than just jobs to your inbox every week. I’ll also provide industry insights about the state of media as well as the greater job community. You’ll even get to read a bit about my personal life. If that doesn’t interest you, you can always subscribe to keep track of new roles for your loved ones.

How do you find the jobs that you post?

I do the grunt work of searching LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and company websites to bring my best and most promising finds straight to you. Recruiters, hiring managers, and occasionally friends also flag positions that might be a fit.

Can you post a job for me?

Sure, contact me at theledenewsletter@gmail.com

Some housekeeping...

You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.

If you can’t find the newsletter, check your spam folder and mark this address as ‘not spam.’ If the newsletter isn’t in your spam folder, check the Promotions tab. If you’re a Google user, dragging the newsletter from the Promotions tab to the Inbox tab trains Google’s algorithm about where emails should go.

Alternatively, the archives are open in the event you miss a newsletter.
